Timeless Fusion is a futuristic and timeless fashion collection that shows a blend of traditional as well as modern clothing styled by the talented students named Niharika Singh and Nivitha Anilkumar from the MSC in Fashion Design at the JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore. By using this attire, the owner can combine the spirit of the old world with the tendencies of the new one, and it presents a lovely tour through the ages of fashion. Imagine yourself entering an actual time machine and finding yourself in a time where there is even a fusion between Victorian fashion and technological advancement.
To be more precise, the design of “Timeless Fusion” reflects the accents of the Victorian stylistic. In this period, clothing revolved around details such as embroidery, use of expensive fabrics and the cut out body shape. Niharika & Nivitha has beautifully portrayed this aspect in their designer wear collection. The main characteristics of Victoriana clothing are the extremely feminine and elaborate dresses with much detailing, along with luxurious, rich fabrics, and they incorporated all these aspects and updated the styles.
The concept called “Timeless Fusion” is aimed at reminding people of the luxury and respectable appearances of the Victorian epoch. Accordingly, the designers intended to bring back into people’s minds the beauty and luxury of that period up to the present day. They have incorporated even minute embroidery work, and the denser the fabric, the richer the overall look and feel, which is modern.
“Timeless Fusion” is a name that suits the time-traveling fashion theme to a T. Such ideas connected with Victorian style combined with modern design and realizing a perfect combination of both traditions make up the collection. The clothes are Victorian, but at the same time, the designers have incorporated what I would like to call contemporary Victorianism. This combination enables the users of these garments to embody the aesthetics of the past without compromising the modernity and stylishness of the clothing.
This is also reinforced by the selection of fabric and colors used in the dress, referred to as the “Timeless Fusion.” Several materials have been used in clothing detailing; the designers incorporate German ‘Satin’ to give the clothes a smooth and rich texture; zippers, buttons, and hooks are also used. The sources of color inspiration are sophisticated, which range from light and nautical beige to nude pink, sage green, violet, and blue. These colors also depict the Victorian era in a proper way and make the collection look very suitable for high fashion. In any way of dressing up formal or a casual fashionable get-up, “Timeless Fusion’ is something special for every dress-conscious person.
