Heptad Aura – JD Design Awards 2024

The fascinating fashion collection “Heptad Aura” was created by Priyanka P, a student of MSC in Fashion Design at the JD Institute of Fashion Technology in Bangalore, who won the “Sustainable Fashion Champion Award” at the JD Design Awards 2024. This whole collection is focused on uniting the seven chakras with the basics of today’s fitness fashion. Open your mind to the idea of dressing in fashionable garments every day that also feel as if they are providing for all your wellbeing needs. That, I believe, is the charm of “Heptad Aura”!

Heptad Aura is designed out of seven chakras of the body. Bad organization of colors, These chakras, or energy centers, each emit their own aura and affect the mood and health of an individual. The collection is linked to the activewear niche, bearing in mind that it targets highly active yogis. The designs contain uniqueness and both casual and formal elegance through the use of knitted fabrics and breathable mesh. The clothes are about the aesthetic appearance of the model, how the person feels, and how the yoga poses would be performed.

The garments put mild pressure on acupressure points, which are needed for increasing the speed of tissue recovery and improving the patient’s quality of life. Such features make the collection appropriate for people who are interested in yoga and want to assist in the physical body’s healing processes. The main audience, to be precise, is active persons, men and women, in the age range of 25 to 40 years, who are interested in improving their health through practicing yoga, taking nutritional supplements, and using other services connected with treatment and prevention. With “Heptad Aura,” they are able to have something that is stylish, comfortable, and has some added health boosts with the available wellness benefits.

Thus, adopting the concept of seven chakras, the collection interconnects history and the past with today’s ideas and product designs. Basically, the concept is that with the help of those clothes, people will be able to practice yoga and remain healthy by balancing the chakras. Brooke’s proposition is the futuristic approach to the clothing selection peculiarities of the 1990s, which guarantees that the clothes are not only aesthetically but also physiologically appropriate for the human body.

Other aspects of the work contribute to its intrigue: the dresses’ fabric and colours in “Heptad Aura”. The collection utilizes knitted and mesh fabrics which are well suited for active wear as they allow free breathing and are comfortable. These materials make the garments flexible and supportive making them ideal for yoga. Fluorescent colours in the distance are in correlation with seven chakras, starting with orange and ending with violet.
